Write for us
Clever World Journal welcomes pitches about everyday ingenuity: a sharply observed object, a revealing feature of design, an unusual turn in language, a satisfying puzzle approach or a resourceful habit. We want pieces with a distinct subject, a clear reader payoff and no need for specialist claims.
What makes a good pitch
Send a brief proposal explaining the central idea, what makes it worth a closer look and how the piece would unfold. Show that the subject is specific enough for one article and that its main point differs from familiar advice. For comparisons, name the options and the question the comparison answers; for explanations, say what readers will understand by the end.
What to leave out
We do not seek pitches built on unsupported claims, promotional copy, hazardous instructions or professional medical, legal or investment advice. Avoid proposals that require readers to rely on local rules, specialist testing or personal credentials to act safely.
How to send a proposal
Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include a short outline and any relevant sources or links in your message. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a reply before sending a complete manuscript.
Curiosity starts with a closer look
A useful idea need not be grand. We look for the small choices and unexpected connections that make familiar things more interesting.
